Concho Valley Center for Entrepreneurial Development (CVCED)

The Business Incubator. Provides space and shared services to small businesses as well as onsite administrative and advising services at low cost.

San Angelo Chamber of Commerce

Provides networking, visibility, and sponsorship opportunities to areas businesses. Also provides economic development assistance to business wishing to expand or relocate to the area.

Concho Valley Workforce Development Board (CVWDB)

Provides employers workforce assistance and training through various resource partners.

Texas Department of Agriculture-Rural Economic Development

Provides advising services to businesses in the rural areas of west central Texas.

City of San Angelo Development Services Department

Provides assistance for new, expanding, or relocating businesses regarding building and fire codes, zoning and land use, subdivision regulations, and required improvements.  Free services include comprehensive site analysis, zoning verification, and the Development Review Committee.  The Development Review Committee meets on large-scale residential and commercial projects in all stages of planning and is made up of staff members from the following divisions: Fire Prevention, Planning, Inspections & Permits, Engineering Services, and Water Utilities.  This Committee provides suggestions, information, and assistance regarding all development-related processes.  Online tools provided for businesses include handouts which summarize requirements, interactive online mapping, and online applications.  Development Services also oversees the North Angelo Revitalization Grant and the Downtown Façade Improvement Grant.

Howard College Workforce Training

The Workforce Training Division focuses on work-related training.  It seeks to improve the skills needed in the local labor force by working with businesses and industries to identify--and then design and deliver training to meet their specific requirements. It also provides training opportunities for individuals seeking to improve their workplace skills or attain new qualifying skills where a change of career is desired. The division assists businesses and industries who may need help identifying funding resources for training needs, writes grants to secure such funding, and administers grants when received.

West Texas Training Center (managed by Howard College)

The West Texas Training Center (WTTC) is a workforce training facility that serves the occupational training needs of the Concho Valley and West Texas. The center and its consortium partners provide this training via credit courses and programs, customized training, distance education, and by working with regional industry to provide facility space for company-specific training classes.

Downtown San Angelo Inc.

Downtown San Angelo, Inc. believes that a vibrant Downtown is essential to improve the Quality of Life in San Angelo by revitalizing the vitality of Downtown. Creating an Economic Development program through the context of Historic Preservation utilizing a four point approach: Design, Organization, Promotion and Economic Restructuring will develop that climate for growth.

Better Business Bureau

Provides accreditation to members, rates businesses, and acts as a liaison for businesses and the general public, dispute resolution, promotional services in newsletters, on the website and magazine, education on business regulations, and scams.
